ValidatorTM Chromatography Data System Validation Instrument

 

Validator generates high-resolution, pre-programmed chromatograms and square wave voltage signals for:

  • Testing and Calibration of data system Analog-to-Digital converters for accuracy and reproducibility.   ISO requires  “…the user shall identify, calibrate and adjust all inspection, measuring and test equipment and devices that can affect product quality at prescribed intervals, or prior to use, against certified equipment having a known valid relationship to  nationally recognized standards"
  • "FDA 21 CFR 58.63 - Maintenance and calibration of equipment.
    (a) Equipment shall be adequately inspected, cleaned, and maintained.
    Equipment used for the generation, measurement, or assessment of data shall be adequately tested, calibrated and/or standardized"
  • Verifying and Certifying data system software integration algorithms for consistent/reproducible area and height results.
  • Four standard built-in signal patterns

  • Precision, DC accurate pattern file that goes from 0 to 500,000 µv, back to baseline, then to 1,000,000 µv (1 volt). Second output range that goes from 0 to 1000,000 µv, back to baseline, then to 2,000,000 µv (2 volt).
  • Second output provides 2 volt full scale.
  • Six gaussian peaks, in an increasing height pattern.

  • Busy real-world chromatogram with many peaks and challenging patterns.

  • 100 peak square file that has 100 square wave peaks, each increasing in height, from near baseline to full scale. Ideal for checking data systems linearity. Boundary testing from 0 to 1000 mV in 10 mV steps. Use 2 volt rage for steps of 20 mV from 0 to 2000 mV.

  • Optional user provided signal patterns

  • Very simple to operate

  • Start Contact Closure Output provides Normally Open, Normally Closed, Common



    Each Validator is calibrated & certified to an NIST traceable standard. Certificate provided

    Annual recalibration service and NIST traceable recertification is available from Axxiom Chromatography
